Nursery and Children

"These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NASB)

The tender faith of children is precious to God and to the congregation at Alta Vista. Jesus himself said, "Let the children come to Me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these ." Mark 10:14b. You will find many ministries at Alta Vista designed to meet the needs of your children and to encourage them to know God through Jesus Christ. As a church, we desire to help families in our communities raise their children to love God and live for Him.

Nursery

9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday
(upstairs Nursery)

Toddlers

(2's & 3's): 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday
(in room off the lower foyer)

Childrens' Program

During the Fall, Winter and Spring (excluding July and August), a Sunday School program provides Bible-based activities for children of all ages. The program runs from 9:30am to 12:15pm, with children joining the Praise and Worship portion of the 11am service.
