Congregational Care

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Galatians 6:10 (NASB)

We endeavour to show, through Jesus Christ, love and concern for all the congregation, such that all who come to Alta Vista Baptist are touched by the care or help of others.

Music

"Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises." Psalm 98:4 (NASB)

God designed and built His church to minister to one another, and the music ministry at Alta Vista has the same goal. God is glorified through our music which edifies the Body, and is a testimony to the community.

Christian worhip music is founded upon a strong biblical and theological foundation, and is used as another method to proclaim God's Word. It is chosen to allow both musical excellence and participation. Several worship team alternate weeks to provide a mix of traditional and contemporary styles, with the overall mix favouring the contemporary.

God is worthy of only our best, so we sing and play our instruments to God's glory.

The Music Committee coordinates the frequent scheduling of special musical ministries. You are invited to contribute to this vital ministry.
