Worship

When we at Alta Vista Baptist worship God, we are acknowledging His greatness, power, goodness and wisdom. We are trying to grow in our appreciation of who He is. Jesus himself said that God is "seeking worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth".

Therefore, we stress the responsibility of each person who comes, to be prepared to whole-heartedly worship God. We also stress the importance of the Bible in our worship services and each week we add to our store of Bible knowledge through the preaching of His Word and the explanation of how it applies to our present-day circumstances.

It is important to remember that in all our services, our worship is God-centered and He alone is worthy of our praise, honor and glory.

Pre-Worship Fellowship

Most Sunday mornings between 10:30 and 11:00am is a time for refreshments and fellowship (between the end of Bible Study groups and the Main Service). Please join us in the Lower Lobby.
