Alta Vista Baptist Church as been blessed with a vibrant, active and growing youth congregation. The mission of our Youth Ministry is to equip our youth with all the necessary elements for a balanced Christian life.

The Youth Ministry is divided into two groups: Junior High (grades 7 & 8) and Senior High (grade 9 to OAC). Although separate in principle, the groups are combined at present for most activities.

The ministry exists to evangelize (ie. God loves & forgives you and you can know God and live forever), to disciple (ie. help you and teach you how to live as a Christian - to live like Jesus), and to facitilate fellowship (ie. doing things with other Christian youth) for the Junior  and Senior High kids in our church and community.

Youth Group activities are normally scheduled for Friday or Sunday evenings.
